Sound Effect design of Acnient Knight chess 3D model using Unreal Engine 5.
Recently, we shared our progress in creating a Knight chess model for the Ancient faction and the process of animating it. We didn't make animations manually but used ready-made ones, but it didn't work smoothly the first time and it required some changes to the model's blueprint. Now everything works the way we want it to.
In this devlog, we'll talk about the sound design for the Knight model. We have assigned sounds for his laser, which will be triggered when he attacks, sounds for animating his side panels, opening, and closing them, and a sound for dying animation. In this video, you can see what this process looks like.
